Ronnie Oldham was born April 3, 1947 in Florence, Alabama. He began teaching himself to play the piano when he was 13 years old, and by the age of 15, he had made enough progress to start playing with groups. He went on the road for 3 years and returned to the Muscle Shoals area where he has acquired the reputation of being a first class studio musician and songwriter. He has played for major studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama; Houston, Texas; and Nashville, Tennessee. The following are some of the artists that Ronnie has worked with: Hank Williams Jr., Carl Perkins, ZZ Hill, Vic Dana, Sherry Bryce, Percy Sledge, Arthur Alexander, Narvel Felts, Tom Paul Glaser, Tony Borden, and Ava Aldridge. Ronnie was inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame as a music achiever.
